The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more
important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures,
than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than
appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a
The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the
attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the
fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only
thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I
react to it. And so it is with you...
We are all in complete control of just one thing - our
Attitude - It
has absolutely "everything" to do with your job / your career / business / profession - your future. It has
everything to do with - attracting wealth - achieving abundance - succeeding in life.
Challenges - But it is not easy to always be
optimistic and positive. Life can be difficult, and in tough economic times, it's not just your "finances" that can
suffer - your "relationships" can be strained - your "spirituality" may be weak - your "health" can be stressed. Or
"bad habits" can return, and "negative thoughts" can take over.
Mindset - Many people have found that, when they tune in to their 'internal dialogue',
those negative thoughts ((“I could never do that” and -- “What if I fail?”)). This "little
voice" inside creates self-limiting beliefs that can seriously impact your behavior -vs- that of being
blessed with a "possibility thinking" mindest, for reaching your FULL potential. If this describes YOU - the
'stress' associated with that "negative" internal dialogue, in turn, affects every single aspect of your
life. But the beautiful thing is - re-shaping your mindset IS totally possible for you (for ALL of us) - and
it is highly desirable.
Attitude - This helps to cope more easily with the daily affairs of life. It brings
optimism into your life, and makes it easier to avoid worry, fear and negative thinking. If you adopt it as a
way of life, it will bring constructive changes into your life, and makes them happier, brighter and more
successful. With a positive attitude you see the bright side of life, become optimistic and expect the best
to happen. It is certainly a state of mind that is well worth developing and strengthening.
Thinking - It leads to happiness and success, and can change your whole life. 'Stinkin
Thinkin' drains energy, vision and and creativity from you. Bit if you change your attitude to look at the
"brighter" side of life, your daily living becomes filled with light. This light affects not only you, and
the way you look at the world - but also your whole environment, and the people around you. If it is strong
enough, it becomes contagious.
Here's the thing - the seeds of greatness are in ALL of us. YOU are a well
designed, well crafted, unmatched, unequalled, first-class, unique, highly significant individual - whose
abilities, gifts, talents and life, were created to bring "positive impact and change" into this world. YOU were
created to release your 'own' greatness - and out of that flow of greatness, life success emerges! All you need to
do is RE-discover it! :>)
Our success, or lack thereof, is MENTAL - it rests completely
"between our ears".
If our mind isn't "set" for success then working harder, getting a
different job, or starting a new business / practice will not make a bit of difference.
3-Dimensional - The great Bob Proctor teaches that - our Behavior - our Belief System -
our Results - they must all be "in strict alignment" with each other. We are "3-dimensional" human beings -
where our Thoughts - our Feelings - our Actions - they must all be "in absolute harmony". Otherwise, we will never
really see the RESULTS we want in life (whether it's better family relationships, more financial success, deeper
spiritual insight, a more loving marriage, greater health - whatever).
---- Habit - Also, we are "creatures of HABIT" - we need constant
REINFORCEMENT of our goals - we need continual "REPITITION of information" pouring into our conscious
((and "sub-conscious")) mind - in
order for it to become habitual - in order for us to move forward, so that we ACHIEVE our dreams.
Talk - One of the "best" ways to help accomplish such CHANGE, according to
Proctor) is to "repeat" - over and over - good messages to ourselves, such as
"I am SO happy and greatful now that money comes to me in increasing quantities -
through multiple sources - on a continual basis".
---- Repitition - According to Proctor, such positive messages
should be repeated "1000 times per day" - for at least "90-days" - before they will truly resonate with us -
before they will capture our attention - before they will become our belief system - before they
will "transform" our behavior - before they will ((finally)) give us the kind of RESULTS
we have prayed for.
